 Airport Privacy Concerns

December 30. 2009

U.S. President Obama

Privacy concerns regarding proposed airport scanning equipment has been widely debated, but if handled properly and discreetly, there is no reason said technology cannot be sufficiently deployed to aid national security. Passengers will have to view it as a trip to the doctor, being screened via detailed imagery, knowing your body may be somewhat exposed at some point. Facial recognition software should be used as well. Fingerprint analysis should be available at airports for individuals deemed suspicious.
