Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Nominated For Oscars

January 24. 2009

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and his parents at the "Benjamin Button" premiere

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have both been nominated for Oscars. Jolie for her role in the eerie looking film “The Changeling” and Pitt for “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.”

Brad Pitt

I saw Pitt’s film by accident, thanks to a friend of mine, who amazingly got a "for your consideration" Oscar copy of it and I must say, his acting in the movie is not worthy of an Oscar (I shall review it in coming days and it will not be pretty, as it was the most depressing film I'd ever seen).  But it is Hollywood and the criteria you and I use does not apply. Many online writers and internet posters were upset at the choice of nominees and I can’t say I blame them.

In other Jolie and Pitt news, the couple has temporarily moved into a Long Island, New York mansion worth $60,000,000 while she films her latest flick.
