Are You Over Training

March 16. 2015

Over training or training in the wrong way is dangerous in sports. Your body will have to carry you throughout your sporting career. Therefore, be careful that you are not settling into bad habits that can lead to preventable injuries. While injuries do happen, all of them do not have to in practice or play.

I’ve seen videos online where select newbie athletes and newly signed sports figures, have been putting undue strain on their bodies. A qualified sports professional should be hired to assess if the athlete is training in the correct manner.

For instance, are you running in the correct manner? Are you lifting too many heavy weights? Are you doing push ups and pull ups in the correct manner or is your form promoting injury and unnecessary pain?
