Aristide Returns To Haiti

March 21. 2011

Former Haitian President, Jean Bertrand Aristide, made an emotional return to his homeland of Haiti last week, after many years in exile. He was greeted by his supporters in the streets and at his home on the island. Aristide was President of Haiti in the 1990s, before being unceremoniously and illegally removed by the U.S. government, then  deposited into Africa. Former Jamaican Prime Minister, PJ Patterson, allowed Aristide to stay in Jamaica for a time, for a break from the distress and to visit relatives.

The Judiciary Report is not in favor of outside governments removing foreign heads of state. It is a matter for the people of each nation to decide, regarding their own world leaders. It is completely out of order, unseemly and unacceptable, for any government to invade a foreign nation and kick out their leader, duly elected or not.
