Black History Month And The Business Place

February 28. 2013

Barack Obama

As black history month in America draws to a close, the Judiciary Report would like to reflect on the state of life in America for black people. While progress has been made, there is still a long way to go. America has its first black President Barack Obama, which was a major milestone for the nation. More black politicians have gained places of prominence in the Republican party as well as the Democratic party.

In the business sector, things continue to lag behind, as some on Wall Street continue monopolies and "unfair business practices" designed to keep minorities out. Until the business sector follows the law of the land and desists engaging in discriminatory and fraudulent practices against minorities, equality will be but a dream, as an even economic playing field leads to equal opportunities for all - black, white, Hispanic, Asian and all.
