Britain Expands Business Ties With China

Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron meets with China's President Xi Jinping at Downing Street in London, England

Britain's Prime Minister, David Cameron, rolled out the welcome mat for China's President, Xi Jinping, during an official state visit to London, England today. The heads of state have strengthened ties between the two nations, in cementing financial deals worth 40-billion British pounds.

China is building a nuclear power plant in England, in a deal said to be worth 18-billion British pounds. Other deals include building a business complex of office towers and retail space in London's docklands area, said to be worth 1.5-billion British pounds. The price for visas for Chinese tourists will also be reduced. Much can be gained from the deals on both sides. Here's hoping it is fruitful and all works out.
