Congress And Bush Have Not Reached Bailout Deal

Bumbling Bush And Clueless Congress

September 25. 2008

Bipartisan meetings President George Bush requested

As America’s financial problems continue to grow, the U.S. Congress today failed to reach an agreement to alleviate the nation’s deteriorating financial situation.

I for one believe this $700 billion dollar bailout will fail, for several reasons, but I’m not in Congress and this is for them to hash out.

That’s almost a trillion dollars, which is a significant sum of money. Knowing the group of elitists, it will end up in the wrong hands and prove largely fruitless.

The Bush Administration created this catastrophic nightmare in conjunction with Congress and the nation and the world is watching to ascertain what they will do in the hopes of repairing it.

The Democrats are reportedly the largest in number pitching for the deal, with it being said the Republicans are the fewest in favor of supporting it.

Hardheadedness got us to this place, as the president was warned numerous times over the last few years to turn around and desist in the madness he’s been engaging in, but believing money grows on trees, he persisted down this unjustifiable path.

President Bush’s speech to the nation last night was full of assigning blame to everyone and everything, except where the blame truly lays, with him.

You cannot amend or alter history to reflect a conclusion that is not true, Mr. Bush. This wasn’t the American people’s negligence. This was yours. It is highly irresponsible and unjust that you go on television chastising citizens for your bad choices and the corporate dishonesty you rubberstamped.

But I believe in your heart you know you messed up and in a massive way. The perturbed deer in headlights look, weight loss and appearing as white as a sheet, pretty much gave that away.

I must say, I find it ironic that you are trying to do in 8 weeks what you didn’t do in 8 years of your presidency – work like your shirttail is on fire.

If you had put the people first instead of your cronies in corporate America, the nation wouldn’t be in this mess. The American people need to think about these issues come election time and vote out all in Congress they believe did not serve them well.
