Crooked Judge Indicted For Sex Abuse Of Litigants

March 31. 2009

Jude Herman Thomas

The FBI moved in on crooked judge Herman Thomas, who has now been removed from the bench, pending indictment on civil rights charges. Yes, one can be black and guilty of civil rights violations, as no one has the right to unconstitutionally and unlawfully deprive others of their civil liberties.

Thomas, who resigned, has been indicted on, "57 counts of kidnapping, sodomy, sexual abuse, extortion and ethics violations."

Prisoners and defendants in criminal cases are being sexually abused in the prison system, by some, not all, employees that cruelly believe, because they are being rehabilitated via incarceration, their human rights are somehow suspended and they can do anything to them they wish.  It's bad enough they are in prison, must they be sexually abused as well and by authority figures.

While, there have been a few dozen successful prosecutions of government employees that sexually abused inmates and defendants, there needs to be more convictions. Litigants and inmates are still complaining they are being targeted.

You are supposed to be setting an example, not breaking the law. You owe your victims an apology.

FBI asks for public's help in investigation of former judge Herman Thomas

MOBILE, Ala. -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help in its investigation of former judge Herman Thomas, who was arrest last week on an indictment accusing him of using his position to gain sexual favors from criminal defendants...

According to Fierro, under a "color of law" violation, it is a crime for a person acting under "color of law" to willfully deprive another person of any rights protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. "Color of law" violations simply relate to abuses of power by government officials under their governmental authority for personal benefit.

The allegations against Thomas are very serious "color of law" civil rights violations, Fierro said, and as such, the FBI is requesting anyone with information regarding these allegations to contact the FBI at 251-438-3674, or the District Attorney's Office at 251-574-8400.
