Crossdressing Left Out Of "Public Enemies"

The brownnosing makers of the film “Public Enemies” have opted to leave the cross-dressing element out of former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover’s portrayal.

That man was a piece of work and a real hypocrite. Criminally stalking, threatening, harassing and abusing Martin Luther King jr, trying to dig up as much dirt on him as possible, even prying into his sex life for any skeletons in his closet, yet Hoover was actually in the closet.

It's remarkable how much they have in common

Hoover was a pink-dress-wearing-toe-toucher that lived with a man his ENTIRE life. They called said man his companion (*cough* his butt companion). I suppose Hoover did that because he was straight...straight up gay!

As anyone who has seen “Stage Beauty” will remember, Billy Crudup is not above slipping into women’s clothing when his art demands it. So now, with the new trailer for his upcoming flick “Public Enemies” burning up the Internet, we just had to ask: How comprehensive is his portrayal of FBI founder (and supposed cross-dresser) J. Edgar Hoover?

“I won’t be [cross-dressing] – well, not on film,” Crudup said of the flick, which casts him alongside Johnny Depp and Christian Bale...
