Democrats Unpopular Among Voters

May 19. 2010

U.S. President Obama

Due to massive government spending, Democrats have become unpopular among voters, as attested by yesterday's elections that saw prominent Dems, such as, Arlen Specter, lose their seats in Congress. Specter held his seat for 35-years.

Progressive Republicans such as Rand Paul, son of fellow politician, Ron Paul, won their respective races, signaling a change in American politics, due to the Tea Party movement. Yesterday, U.S. President Obama was blamed for the losses, twofold, in not campaigning enough with candidates from his own party and due to his radical changes in government.
