Faye Dunaway vs. Hillary Duff

February 4. 2009

Faye Dunaway as Bonnie

Faye Dunaway is not happy her film "Bonnie & Clyde" is being remade, but it was bound to happen. However, to add insult to injury for Dunaway, pop tart Hilary Duff has been cast in her role as Bonnie.

Dunaway lamented, "Couldn't they have at least cast a real actress?" to which an angry Hilary Duff retorted Faye is old.

My take on this, regarding Hilary Duff being chosen for the role? Are they crazy. Even Hillary Clinton would have made a better choice.

I am not old, as Duff is trying to use against Dunaway, yet I too say she is a very poor choice for what could be a strong film if done correctly.

While, Hilary Duff is photogenic and an orthodontic specimen, the twenty something former "Lizzie McGuire" star screams: over the hill teeny bopper/Mickey Mouse cast off.

Whoever did the casting for this movie should be forced to work as Christian Bale's dp.

Hilary Duff, Faye Dunaway Feud Over Bonnie & Clyde Role

Tuesday February 3, 2009 - Hilary Duff is set to reprise Faye Dunaway's legendary role as Bonnie in the indie remake of The Story of Bonnie and Clyde -- and Dunaway is not pleased.

"Couldn't they have at least cast a real actress?" Dunaway said last week. Duff retaliated against Dunaway Tuesday.

"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is, so you know...." she told E!. "I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."...
