Gordon Brown Pledges To Create 100,000 Jobs

Tories Skeptical

January 5. 2009

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

It was announced on Sunday, January 4, 2009, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has pledged to create 100,000 new jobs in a bid to ward off the recession hitting the UK. I think this is the appropriate course of action.

How the mess got started (President George W. Bush roped in former British Prime Minister Tony Blair)

Done properly, in tandem with significant budget cuts, it will halt the financial decline of Britain during these hard economic times. During said job creation process, emphasis should be placed on creating products for export. It is not enough to just move the money around within the UK.
