Some Republican governors are debating whether they should accept stimulus money from President Barack Obama's bill. They stated it may be more costly in the long run to do so, as the money will run out in two years and pile on more debt.

Others, like Republican governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, have agreed to accept the assistance, stating their constituency is in dire straits.

However, Gov. Haley Barbour stated, "If we were to take the unemployment reform package that they have, it would cause us to raise taxes on employment when the money runs out -- and the money will run out in a couple of years."
