Green Guilt

April 16. 2009

Apparently many green products are not all they are cracked up to be. Over the last couple years, some people have been pouring on the green guilt in the mainstream media, in attempts at convincing the world to use environmentally safe products.

But this revelation regarding 98% of green products not living up to their claims, reminds me of PETA denouncing people for wearing fur in a photo, then finding out the person was actually wearing a fake.

Which leads me to ask, green people, do you actually know what you're doing, because you're making everybody miserable and apparently, in vain. I'm all for saving the earth, but give me something that actually works.

Most green products seen to make false claims

Wed Apr 15, 2009 11:26pm EDT - OTTAWA (Reuters) - Just 2 percent of the growing number of self-proclaimed green products on store shelves make completely legitimate claims on their labels, a report by consulting firm TerraChoice Environmental Marketing said on Wednesday.
