Hispanics Self-Conscious About Gonzales Scandal

April 3. 2007

I’ve read a few items by Hispanics who are self-conscious about the Alberto Gonzales scandal. They shouldn’t be. They didn’t do anything. Gonzales is one man who followed corrupt instructions and now “the music has stopped and he doesn’t have a chair.” You know, like in Clear and Present Danger.

Berto so did not see Clear and Present Danger or he would know better (LOL). Harrison Ford would have never left his butt out to get kicked like this.

Hispanics have nothing to feel ashamed about. I repeat, this is just one man’s deeds. A man might I add that became the highest-ranking Hispanic official in the US government after coming from an impoverished background.

There’s nothing wrong with being poor or having been poor, but there is something wrong with making poor choices.

He should have known better as a minority, that we are placed under greater scrutiny than others. Like I wrote on Saturday, Berto forgot to cover his butt.

Berto received a good education and greatly advanced in society. He should have thought with his conscience, rather than follow the gutless, corrupt instructions he has been given in a number of things, because now, he is left holding the bag.  Now it is his name going up in smoke and that of his family.

As attorney general, your loyalties must lay with the American people, of whom you are one of, not the incumbent administration.

The situation is too far gone now. He needs to step down. And so does his subordinate Robert Mueller. It's one too many things now.
