Jermaine Dupri Fired From Label And Selling Drugs

It is being reported that Janet Jackson's boyfriend and mini-me stand in for the Austin Powers films, has been fired from his job as an executive at Island/Def Jam records. When this announcement was made before, Dupri called everyone a liar.

He is also being accused of selling cocaine in Atlanta, Georgia. This would be quite unwise, as Jay-Z through his greed and stupidity, already drew the FBI's attention to Island/Def Jam.

Previously, an Atlanta FBI agent threw Jermaine Dupri's R&B group, Jagged Edge, under the bus for buying stolen luxury vehicles and in a separate report, selling marijuana.

Oh, the things some do in Hollywood to maintain a lifestyle, for which they cannot earn enough money to legally live in that manner.

A few years ago, Dupri famously bragged on MTV "Cribs" that you are not a baller unless you own certain luxury vehicles. Shortly after, the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) seized his cars and home in Buckhead over unpaid taxes.

Recently, Dupri's restaurant was closed down with employees being denied their wages.

AllHipHop.com has received an exclusive report that Atlanta-based producer Jermaine Dupri’s tenure as President of Island Records Urban Music has come to an end. A formal announcement of his departure from the position, which he has held for nearly two years, may come as early as Thursday (Jan 8).

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a source close to the situation confirmed to AllHipHop.com that Dupri has in fact been terminated effective immediately.
