John Boehner Attempting To Compromise With President Obama On Fiscal Cliff

Leading Republican John Boehner is attempting to compromise with U.S. President Barack Obama on the fiscal cliff, by stating he is open to higher taxation on individuals earning more than one million dollars per year. As the Judiciary Report has maintained for years, a small tax increase on the rich, coupled with budget cuts, would go a far way in balancing America’s financial books. It is up to Obama and Congress at this point, but the more time they spend arguing is the worse the economic problems will be.
