Mahmoud In A Bad Mood

Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Speaks At Columbia University

September 26. 2007

Iran’s head of state Mahmoud spoke at Columbia University this week. His visit was controversial even before he landed.

One student said on the news that he doesn’t understand America’s freedoms and should not be able to come to the University and speak, which sort of contradicted what she said and made me giggle. Girl, you need to stick with your classes.

I don’t think nations’ views and that of their leaders should be hidden. The world needs to know where it stands regarding everyone calling itself a sovereign nation.

Mahmoud’s views are very unsettling. He is pushing his nuclear ambitions while proclaiming he wants Israel wiped off the map. Concerning combo. That is unacceptable.

No nation should be wiped off the map. We all deserve a chance to live, even if we do not agree with each other.

The Jews have exhibited a strong will to live, almost rivaling that of a dread’s desire to smoke weed (just kidding).

Seriously, I don’t know how Mahmoud thinks Israel will take these threats of annihilation lightly and it’s not like they are without the means to launch military strikes of their own to take out specific sites in protecting themselves. These are the people who grew plants/grass in the desert.

My concern is that the military strikes will kill civilians or Bush will initiate war on Iran and a repeat of Iraq will occur. Not to mention, Bush would steal Iran’s oil like he is doing to Iraq.

It would be prudent if this could be resolved diplomatically. Which brings me to my next point.

The people of Iran are faced with a choice. Rein in and or remove Mahmoud or face deadly military action that will unquestionably happen if he is allowed to continue in this manner, as he is doing your nation no favors with his death proclamations.

And make no mistake your lives are in jeopardy with military plans in the works if this continues. While I am not a Muslim, I am a Christian, I do not want you or anyone else in this world to die over something that can be prevented. All this bloodshed is accomplishing nothing.
