Michael Jackson's Publicist Exorbitant Claim Rejected By Estate

April 20. 2010

Michael Jackson

Raymone Bain, the publicist of the late pop star, Michael Jackson, filed a $44,000,000 claim against his estate, for services rendered and an "odd" profit sharing agreement. The exorbitant sum was rejected and rightfully so.

The average Hollywood publicist makes $2,000 - $5,000 per month and entertainers generally do not engage in profit sharing agreements with them. Bain's claim gave the impression she was trying to pull a fast one, hoping the estate would not know better.

Michael Jackson's Former Publicist Has Her Claim Rejected by His Estate

Published April 19, 2010 - Though Michael Jackson passed away last June 25th, his reputation, legacy and estate have been on an unbelievable winning streak of sorts.

Yesterday, Jackson's estate rejected the claims of his publicist, Raymone Bain, who had filed a claim for $44,000,000. Bain said that Jackson, and therefore his estate, owed her this massive sum of money based on past wages and some sort of alleged profit sharing agreement.
