Daniel and Nancy Kerrigan Daniel Kerrigan, the dad of Olympic silver medallist, Nancy Kerrgian, died after a fight with his son, Mark, over a telephone. The elder Kerrigan had a heart attack and died during the fight. His son has been charged with assault.
