There are car dealerships across America that have closed down, due to the U.S. financial crisis and lack of lending by banks. Without auto loans, car sales have dried up, as most Americans are not going to buy a car cash, with many standard models retailing between $10,000 to $40,000. Most people do not have that kind of money laying around.
