Report Finds Sarah Palin Abused Her Position

October 10. 2008

This is a follow up to yesterday’s article Todd Palin To Be Questioned Regarding Troopergate where I stated some believed Sarah Palin, "Abused her position as the governor of Alaska, to have her brother-in-law fired."

Well, that’s the definitive decision today as well, released in a formal investigative report, which found she did indeed "abuse her powers" as Alaska state governor, in attempts at having her brother-in-law fired, during his messy divorce from her sister.

Sarah And Todd Palin

While her conduct was not illegal, it was not exactly kosher. Many will attribute this behavior to her being a protective sister, but it technically, she had no grounds for trying to have him dismissed.

Side bar: White women always get this wrong! You bust out their car windows and tires, you don't try to get them fired! It leaves a trail! (I'm just kidding...and don't do any of that).

Alaska Inquiry Concludes Palin Abused Powers

Gov. Sarah Palin abused the powers of her office by pressuring subordinates to try to get her former brother-in-law, a state trooper, fired, an investigation by the Alaska Legislature has concluded. She was within her right, however, to dismiss her public safety commissioner, the trooper’s boss, the inquiry found.
