Robert Mueller Clowned In Congress

Anthrax Case Keeps Falling Apart

September 19. 2008

FBI Director Robert Mueller

FBI director Robert Mueller took a verbal beating in Congress this week regarding the agency’s shoddy anthrax case against scientist, Bruce Ivins, who killed himself when he learned of a forthcoming federal indictment against him.

Scientists, pundits and lay people have discovered many holes in the FBI’s case that testifies to the fact that something is wrong. The case does not add up. It is not impossible, but looking rather improbable.

It further does not help that the first two men the FBI separately identified as the suspects, one by one, were eliminated, exposing the agency’s errors and rush to judgment.

Dr. Ayaad Assaad (front)

It also doesn’t look good that the FBI destroyed evidence in the Anthrax case. A few Congressmen requested the case remain open and Mueller complied. The first person Mueller pointed the finger at was a Muslim scientist, Dr. Ayaad Assaad, who was later cleared. Well, Mueller hates Muslims and people of color in general, so it figures he’d automatically make that assumption. Mueller was accused of framing the man, by several press outlets like Salon. What a lovely, sinister, treacherous image you’ve cursed the FBI with.

Mueller met with protests outside Congress

Mueller has a thing for stitching people up, especially people the paranoid moron wrongfully believes to be spies or terrorists. Do you realize how stupid you look in the international community, in legitimate intelligence circles, world government offices and separately to people who actually employ spies and terrorists, when you stitch up innocent individuals they never hired for anything.

Real spies and terrorist networks must laugh at you when you accuse people they’ve never contracted to do anything. Do you grasp how reprehensible you make U.S. intelligence look when you hastily do such foolish things that later turn out to be defamatory and damaging. If I were the CIA I’d kick you in the teeth.

You’ve messed up so many times now with your crazy hunches you’ve got no name left, and you took the FBI along with you for the terrible ride. You’re going to do that foolishness one day to the wrong person and end up humiliated and in handcuffs.

FBI scientists destroyed Evidence

(AP) FBI scientists early on had, but destroyed, the unique strain of anthrax used in the deadly 2001 attacks that years later would lead them to Dr. Bruce Ivins. The FBI's assistant director says the sample was destroyed because the bureau believed it might not have been allowed as evidence at trial.

Scientist concedes 'honest mistake' about weaponized anthrax

Peter B. Jahrling, who aided the federal probe of the 2001 mailings, says he erred when he told White House officials that material he examined probably had been altered to make it more deadly.

September 17, 2008 - WASHINGTON -- An acclaimed government scientist who assisted the federal investigation of the 2001 anthrax mailings said Tuesday that he erred seven years ago when he told top Bush administration officials that material he examined probably had been altered to make it more deadly.
