Senate Repeals A Portion Of Obama's Health Care Law

February 3. 2011

Barack Obama

The U.S. Senate has repealed a portion of President Barack Obama's health care bill that has to do with, "The 1099 reporting requirement." Before the 2010 mid-term elections, Republicans repeatedly tried to have this clause repealed, but were unsuccessful until today.

Two U.S. judges have already ruled Obamacare is unconstitutional and Republicans are vowing to continue repeal attempts, until the entire, deficit busting legislation is dismantled. The more seats the Republicans gain, the closer they become to the objective.
