Some AIG Employees Return Bonus Money

March 24. 2009

Due to White House and congressional pressure, some AIG employees have agreed to return the excessive, undeserved bonuses they were given out of taxpayer money. Others are holding out, with a chokehold on that money, like Chris Brown on Rihanna's neck.

A bonus should be for a job well done, not failure and a government handout to keep one’s company afloat. Show some consideration.

The public took a big step in bailing out AIG, because they have so many branches on the tree that is the U.S. economy and this is the thanks taxpayers get. They should apologize for their conduct.

In other AIG news, some of their executives have resigned in the fallout from Bonusgate.
