The Democrats And Republicans Inability To Find Common Ground Is Hampering The U.S. Economy

The U.S. Democrat and Republican parties, respectively, have a serious failure to communicate in current matters of legislation. At least, they are not truly listening to what the other has to say and it is keeping America in the financial crisis far longer than necessary. The Republicans have good policies on balancing the budget and reducing the national deficit. However, their plans to give tax breaks to the rich, will reduce much needed income into the U.S. Treasury.

The Democrats have begun to embrace good policies on raising taxes on the rich, but the Obama Administration's massive spending sprees and philosophies in this regard, pose a greater threat to America, which has been spent into bankruptcy. That cannot continue if America is to regain its footing in the financial world and not take other intertwined global economies down with it. If the two political parties could merge their best ideas, America would have a good chance at a strong recovery. However, neither side will budge. Problem.
