The Government And Hollywood Are Unable To Take Down Site With Celebrities Hacked Financial Information

March 16. 2013

President Barack Obama to Attorney General Eric Holder: still can't get your social security number off the internet, huh

The Russia based website with a California connection http://exposed.su containing the hacked financial data of two dozen high profile figures, such as Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton, among others, is still online using cloud computing, via bulletproof hosting.

To have the site remove, one needs a court order, which the U.S. government nor Hollywood have been able to obtain for the past week. As a result, the site containing celebrities' social security numbers, addresses and credit reports remains active for anyone to read.

There are certain circumstances in America where one can be issued a new social security number, but this incident may not qualify. Furthermore, medical, bank and government files connected to the public figures often require the last four digits of their social security number to receive access to very private items concerning them. In the hands of the wrong people, this can do a significant amount of damage.
