Woman Named As Suspect In Lebron James Pendant Theft

July 19. 2010

A 19-year-old woman in Ohio, Vaneisha Robinson, 19, claimed she bought a pendant in the shape of a jersey, belonging to former, Cleveland Cavalier basketball player, Lebron James, for a few cents at a flea market. Robinson subsequently had it appraised and was informed it is worth almost $10,000.

Fast-forward a few weeks and she is on television complaining that she is the prime suspect in the theft of the chain, belonging to the basketball player's marketing company. Robinson is claiming James' manager, Maverick O. Carter, verbally abused her in an attempt to get their property back, after she went public with the flea market story that is not an original one.

However, Robinson wishes to fight for the pendant that does not rightfully belong to her, stating she will file a lawsuit. She is now implicated in a felony and could face charges of dealing in stolen goods, as police have labeled her a suspect. She should save her money on litigation, in case she needs it for bail. The mere fact the police have named her as a suspect is a warning to give the pendant back.
