Kate Middleton (The Duchess Of Cambridge) and actress Meghan Markle (the fiancée of Prince Harry) are being pitted against each other in the court of public opinion. Social networking and articles online with feedback sections, have furnished readers with outlets to imply and in some cases flat-out state which in their estimation is better.

Middleton and Markle are being unfavorably compared to each other. Readers are making comments about each woman online, some of it very unflattering regarding both females. It is creating jealousy between the two women, who at times have given each other such looks during public outings. Readers are also buying into the idea there is a rivalry.

Audiences are debating which woman is smarter, prettier, dresses better and is more popular. There is also the view online that Middleton is jealous of Markle, because she was already famous as an actress when she met Prince Harry. Markle's presence has taken attention away from Middleton, as the press is covering the pending May nuptials.

Both women crave the spotlight. Middleton has been slammed online for not taking a stand on social issues, such as the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement, regarding sex crimes against women. While some online have slammed Markle for being too outspoken regarding women's issues, among other causes.

Some comments indicate disdain for Middleton for having no career for the past decade, labeling her vacant, a social climber, gold digger and "Waity Katy" for waiting so long on Prince William, who dated other women throughout their courtship. Some comments slam Markle for being black (which is racist) and dislike her for being a Hollywood actress. Both women are being criticized.

The feedback on social networking, blogs and websites such as the Daily Mail UK has been split. One thing's for certain, the rivalry is in full swing. When Middleton gets back in shape, that's when they're really going to try to outdo each other via clothing choices and public statements. And when it goes too far, the Queen will have them both sent to the Tower (I'm kidding about the tower part).
