51-year-old FBI Agent David Harris was arrested in
last week for sexually abusing kids and adults in
Louisiana. The case span 5-years. Harris has been
remanded into custody, as he has been branded a
"flight risk" and "danger to the community."
KLTV news channel reported, "The
allegations involve underage girls including one of
the agent’s relatives.
Prosecutors said he threatened at least one of the
young victims if she said anything."

Judge denies bond for FBI agent accused of
child sex crimes in multiple parishes

- An Ascension Parish judge refused to set a bond
for an FBI agent David Harris after a months-long
investigation uncovered years' worth of sex crimes
involving both adult and child victims across
multiple parishes.
The 51-year-old agent with the FBI's
New Orleans Field Office is being housed in the
Ascension Parish Jail and attended a bond hearing
Thursday via Zoom. At the request of the parish's
District Attorney's Office, the judge did not set a
bond because Harris is a flight risk and poses a
danger to the community.
The investigation began back in
February when the agency received complaints from
multiple victims across Louisiana alleging sexual
abuse by Harris. LSP said the allegations dated back
as far as 2016...

special agent who is accused of multiple sex crimes
is accused of one in Tyler, according to court
testimony Thursday.
David Harris, 51, of Prairieville,
La., appeared in Ascension Parish court on Thursday
for a bond hearing. District Judge Tess Stromberg
ordered Harris held without bond. A source familiar
with the case said the allegations against Harris
are extremely disturbing.
Smith County District Attorney Jacob
Putman said a charge of third-degree indecent
exposure has been served to Harris. The case was
investigated by Texas Rangers and the warrant was
signed by District Judge Jack Skeen...
