Demi Lovato Drug Overdose And Hospitalization Is The Latest In Her Substance Abuse Struggles Stemming From Her Disney Days

July 26. 2018

Demi Lovato

25-year-old Disney singer/actress, Demi Lovato, was rushed to the hospital on Monday, suffering from a drug overdose. Reports leaked stating Lovato took heroin, while others state it was a meth overdose. Lovato had been parting at her Hollywood Hills mansion with people from a night club she visited. They were using illegal drugs and drinking alcohol in an impromptu party that went on for hours.

Someone at the party revived Lovato with the drug Narcan and called paramedics. It should be noted, Narcan is often given to people who have overdosed on heroin. Narcan is being abused by people who are taking it lightly, as a safety net to engage in reckless, potentially lethal behavior, in search of greater narcotic highs.

The mere fact they had the emergency drug Narcan on standby says they are playing a dangerous game that could cost them their lives. Narcan has a good success rate, but a person could miscalculate and flatline from an overdose, before the drug is administered to restore breathing and stable brain function for 30-90 minutes.

All the people at Lovato's drug and alcohol fuelled party fled prior to the paramedics and police arriving. She was given Narcan, then left in that fragile, sick state. Those aren't her real friends. Too often in Hollywood having a party or a good time automatically means illegal drugs and getting drunk, which is very unwise. What kind of good time damages your health and nearly kills you.

The Daily Mail reported that police found drug paraphernalia at Lovato's house, but she was uncooperative in refusing to tell them what narcotic she had illegally consumed, leading to the overdose. Lovato was rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital where she is being treated for the drug overdose. She is also struggling with the eating disorder Bulimia, which has left her bloated.

Previously, Lovato stated she first tried cocaine at age 17 and on some occasions mixed it with Xanax (which is very dangerous and potentially deadly). Since that time, Lovato has taken many illegal drugs and repeatedly gotten drunk. I hope her fans will not follow her example, wrongly thinking it is cool, because it's not. Drug addiction is not something to play with, as it is dreadful for those in the midst of it.

Lovato's current song "Sober" is about her losing her sobriety. It's a dark and regrettable song she has been performing on tour. Lovato's manager has cancelled her public appearances, including concert dates, in light of her overdose. Lovato is very lost and the people around her are making it worse. A drug overdose can create organ failure and brain damage. It's not a desirable medical outcome.

Lovato, like many Disney stars, is struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. You would think somewhere with an innocent image like Disney, would be a wholesome place. However, as I have stated for years, it is not, due to pedophilia targeting its young stars and the addiction problems in creates in child stars (Hollywood Director James Gunn Fired From 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Film Sequel Over Sick Items He Wrote Promoting Pedophilia And Rape). A number of child stars have been molested in Hollywood (both male and female underage teens and preteens). Many of them turn to abusing alcohol and taking illegal drugs, which only multiplies their problems.

Demi Lovato 'had been using meth in days before she overdosed on heroin after all-night party at her $8M home with friends who revived singer with Narcan then fled before EMTs arrived'

Published: 11:37 EDT, 25 July 2018 | Updated: 12:47 EDT, 25 July 2018 - New details about the days leading up to Demi Lovato's alleged heroin overdose are coming to light as the singer continues to recover at a Los Angeles hospital. TMZ reports that Lovato had been partying through the night at her $8 million Hollywood Hills home prior to her overdose, which occurred just before noon on Tuesday.

The singer's friends revived her with Narcan according to a law enforcement source and notified members of Lovato's team about the situation, but then fled before emergency workers arrived on the scene. Multiple sources close to Demi are adamant however that the singer did not overdose from heroin, thought they do admit that the singer seemed to have relapsed in the past few weeks...
