Former Child Star And Sexual Abuse Victim Quindon Tarver Found Dead At Age 38

October 12. 2021

Quindon Tarver as a child star

38-year-old former child star, Quindon Tarver, was found dead on April 1, 2021. Tarver drove into a tree, whilst driving on the President George Bush Turnpike in Dallas, Texas. It is a strange incident regarding a very distraught man who was destroyed by Hollywood..

Tarver was raped when he was a child star in Hollywood. In previous interviews with several publications, such as Quincy Jones' Vibe magazine, Tarver stated his music producer, Chris Stokes, ordered another young child star, Marques Houston, to anally rape him, among other things. Tarver stated it was a painful, traumatic and horrible experience. The rapes continued unabated, prompting him to leave the music industry.

The Independent newspaper wrote, "In 2017, Tarver said that his early career had been derailed after he was molested in the music industry. 'I was hurting,' he told ABC News. 'I had been molested, I had been raped, I had lost my career, which is what I had dreamed of doing all my life. I had to come back home because someone did something to me … I began drinking and dabbling in drugs and I lost it, man. I spiralled completely.'"

Other former child stars, such as Raz B of Stokes' boyband, B2K stated he was raped as well by Stokes, who is his cousin. When Raz B spoke out he was threatened by Stokes' thugs and force to retract the story. However, after he was away from them, he told the public he was threatened and forced to retract the story.

I believe him. Stokes was going around offering bloggers to remove articles about the allegations against him. I refused and he sicced two law firms on me, one after another, and I still refused to take down the articles about him sexually abusing child stars. Then he tried bribery and I refused the money. Then he tried outright threats via an email stating what would "coerce" me (Chris Stokes Tried To Bribe Me To Remove Articles About Boyband B2K Being Sexually Molested As Underage Boys). I didn't give into any of his demands.

Quindon Tarver death: Romeo + Juliet choir boy dies at 38

Monday 05 April 2021 09:31 - Quindon Tarver, who found fame as a choir boy in 1996’s Romeo + Juliet, has died at the age of 38. Tarver was killed in a car accident in Dallas, Texas on Friday (2 April), his uncle confirmed to The Daily Beast.

“He had an accident,” said Willie Tarver. “All we know is he had a wreck, crashed into a wall somewhere on George Bush [Turnpike]. That’s all the information I have.” Tarver appeared in two pivotal musical scenes in Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of the William Shakespeare play, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.

He was the key choir boy during the secret wedding scene, wherein he belted out a cover of Rozalla’s “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)”. He also sung another cover in the film, of Prince’s “When Doves Cry”.

Along with Romeo + Juliet, Tarver appeared in the video for Madonna’s “Like a Prayer”, and auditioned as an adult for two seasons of American Idol. In 1996, he released a solo album, Quindon.

In 2017, Tarver said that his early career had been derailed after he was molested in the music industry. “I was hurting,” he told ABC News. “I had been molested, I had been raped, I had lost my career, which is what I had dreamed of doing all my life. I had to come back home because someone did something to me … I began drinking and dabbling in drugs and I lost it, man. I spiralled completely.”...
