Lawyer Refers To Robert Mueller's Russian Collusion Case As ‘Ridiculous’ Leading To Questionable Gag Order

Special counsel Robert Mueller has been slammed by many over his “Russian collusion” case regarding the 2016 presidential election. Congress discredited the case. Former FBI director James Comey stated in Congress there was no evidence of collusion between President Trump and Russia. However, Mueller, for unsavory political and personal reasons, is misusing the office of Special Counsel for his own ends.

Politico.com is reporting Mueller has been unethically slapping people with gag orders in trying to shut them up about his weak “Russia collusion” something he also did as FBI Director, when he abused the Patriot Act and National Security Letters to criminally spy on people and companies for political and financial gain.

Politico stated, “They were quieted after one of the lawyers told reporters that Mueller’s case was ‘ridiculous.’ Mueller is now trying to gag Roger Stone. However, Stone has hired a First Amendment lawyer in a bid to counter it. How can you put someone on trial then tell them they can’t speak about it and publicly defend themselves while you assail them in the free press. That’s like tying someone’s legs together and running a race against them unencumbered, then declaring yourself the winner.

Stripping people of their First Amendment right is un-constitutional and un-American. You know, Mueller, it’s the same thing you accuse Russia of - communism. For someone who claims to be in a Democratic government, Mueller sure loves stripping people of their rights.

It’s one of the things that has disgusted me about Mueller for years, after dealing with the FBI. The man is completely corrupt. He routinely and criminally violated Attorney Client privilege to win cases, which is criminal. He routinely threatened innocent people and their families, demanding they cooperate with his insane campaigns at the FBI, not rooted in justice, but political dominance and financial bribery. His is full of dirty, illegal tactics.

01/30/2019 05:00 AM EST - Roger Stone has long feared he would be slapped with a gag order if he got indicted — and he’s readied a plan to make sure he won’t have to stay silent. The federal judge in Stone’s case, Amy Berman Jackson, has already hushed a coterie of others caught in special counsel Robert Mueller’s dragnet, including Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and their attorneys. They were quieted after one of the lawyers told reporters that Mueller’s case was “ridiculous.”

Jackson will have a much longer record of public commentary from Stone to work with when the longtime Donald Trump associate appears Friday afternoon for his first status hearing tied to the special counsel’s charges that he lied to Congress and obstructed the House investigation into Russian election meddling.

If Stone is gagged, his contingency plan is already in place. He’s got a well-known First Amendment attorney on his legal team who represented the rap group 2 Live Crew against obscenity charges in the early 1990s. And Stone has designated a pair of close friends as spokesmen in the event he and his lawyers are told to stop talking. Until then, Stone won’t stop chattering...“The most dangerous thing is to go silent,” Stone said then. “When you’re silent, people assume you’re guilty of something.”
