Meghan Markle Knows She Is Being 'Pitted Against Kate Middleton'

This is a follow up to the March 18, 2018 article "Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton Are Being Pitted Against Each Other." This week a friend of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, stated to People magazine in America, "Meghan is very aware that Kate will be queen; their roles are very clear. Meghan doesn't fit the mould while Kate was groomed for this. What's challenging is when they are pitted against each other. That's been challenging to both of them. Meghan has her life, Kate has hers."

At least she realizes it. Markle is more popular than Middleton, which is something she has working in her favor. She needs to make the best of it in terms of using her podium to do as much good as she can. At the end of the day, one must use one's influence for good.

As Prince Andrew has brought massive and unprecedented scandal on the royal family, he is now the main press target, and not Markle for simply existing and being black. Things are getting worse for Prince Andrew, due to his own poor choices, and will continue in that direction for a while. It gives Markle some breathing room.

Regarding the talk of Middleton being Queen, the irony is I'm of the belief the royal family will be abolished. It's nothing to do with Markle. It is due to a culmination of scandals that began before Markle even arrived on the scene, regarding several members of the royal family and their conduct, coupled with a change in the political and financial landscape of Britain.

A friend of the duchess claimed Meghan 'doesn't fit the mould', while Kate was 'groomed' for her role as the future monarch's wife.

They added that Meghan was a 'fully formed person' when she joined the Royal Family, however Kate was still a young student when she met Prince William at the University of St Andrews. They added that the two women are more focused on their respective families than being competitive with each other.
