Investigation Over Lying In The Brett Kavanaugh Case

Should Have Interviewed Julie Swetnick In The Brett Kavanaugh Case And
Here's Why." Today, U.S. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck
Grassley has forwarded the names of crooked attorney,
Michael Avenatti and his deceitful client, Julie Swetnick,
to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department
of Justice (DOJ) for criminal investigation. Grassley sent a
letter to the FBI and DOJ instructing them to investigate
Avenatti and Swetnick. Grassley also attached exhibits
citing evidence of the two lying about Supreme Court justice
Brett Kavanaugh.
In the October 3, 2018 Judiciary Report article I stated, "In ways the FBI should have interviewed her. Why you ask? It is
a crime to lie to the FBI that is punishable by imprisonment and
a fine. When Swetnick came forward after Ford, the FBI had
already stated they would not investigate the matter, as it is
not an issue they would normally take up and they had already
done their background check of Kavanaugh and cleared him."

Now they are being investigated and rightly so. The Kavanaugh
hearings were a very serious national issue. Avenatti and
Swetnick, who has a history of falsely accusing men of rape and
engaging in blackmail, acting out of greed and self-interest,
clouded those issues for personal gain. In the process they have
made it very difficult for actual victims of sexual assault and
rape to be believed.
People took the first accuser seriously (Christine Blasey Ford).
However, once Swetnick began spewing the most implausible and
illogical story of an underage Kavanaguh running trains on her
and other women at gang rapes, while she was of age and in
university (illegal sex with a minor), it caused people to cast
aspersions on the entire proceedings. People began labeling it a
scam. Why did she keep attending these gang rapes month after
month and not call the police. Why do none of his friends or
people from the schools remember her. Why did they all denounce
Swetnick and her tales. She had no business interjecting herself,
via
lies, into this serious issue.

(CNN) Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley on Thursday
referred Julie Swetnick and her lawyer Michael Avenatti to
the Department of Justice for a possible criminal
investigation over allegations they made false statements to
Congress about now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
"I am writing to refer Mr. Michael Avenatti
and Ms. Julie Swetnick for investigation," Grassley wrote in
a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director
Christopher A. Wray, for potential "materially false
statements they made to the Committee during the course of
the Committee's investigation. "
