The public are asking exactly what was going on in the household of actress Angelina Jolie and actor Brad Pitt to cause their kids to drop his name from their own. In 2005, Pitt publicly cheated on then-wife, Jennifer Aniston, famous for her role on the sitcom "Friends." Pitt began cheating with Jolie on the set of their film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Aniston was devastated. She was seen tearfully wandering around in Los Angeles when the paparazzi broke news of the extramarital affair.

Jolie had begun adopting children before she met Pitt. The two refused to marry for nearly a decade after their affair began. Aniston and Pitt divorced in October 2005. Pitt and Jolie later married in 2014 and gave their kids the last names Jolie-Pitt. They have adopted three children. They also have three biological children.

The couple divorced two years later in 2016 after a well-publicized incident on a private jet where Pitt is accused of hitting Jolie. She filed a criminal complaint with the FBI/DOJ, who have a legal mandate regarding crimes that occur on aircrafts in America. However, the corrupt FBI/DOJ failed to make a case.

This year 4 of 6 of their children have dropped Pitt's last name and only go by the surname Jolie (adopted children Zara and Maddox, and biological kids Shiloh and Vivienne have submitted legal paperwork to the courts in Los Angeles to remove Pitt's name from their own). It was a very dysfunctional household containing substance abuse and violence issues. Pitt was unhappy when Jolie removed her breasts in an ill-advised attempt to avoid developing cancer (it does not eliminate the risk of developing cancer). Pitt also cheated on Jolie, which is clearly a bad habit.
