Britain Surpasses Over 1,500,000 Coronavirus Cases Confirming Previous Claims

The United Kingdom has passed over 1,512,05 coronavirus cases this week. This figure is on track to match my prediction regarding the deadly virus in Britain. In early April 2020 when there was only 34,000 cases in Britain, I stated in a time stamped tweet on the social networking site Twitter.com, that Britain could see 2,000,000 cases of coronavirus.

Britain is steadily marching towards that figure of 2,000,000 coronaviruscases, recording the aforementioned 1,512,0445 cases and counting this week, in reference to a virus that officials such as U.S. President Donald Trump, previously stated would be down to zero by April 2020.

The virus also caught Britain's Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, off guard, as he told the public to go out there and "take it on the chin." Last week Britain also became the first European nation to surpass over 50,000 coronavirus deaths. Some within Britain state the death count is even higher, as Johnson was not counting coronavirus deaths in care homes, regarding the elderly, who have been hard hit by the virus. Johnson's initial relaxed approach caused a significant amount of damage in Britain. Now he's trying to make up for it with lockdowns.

Coronavirus cases pass 1.5 million in the UK after 18,662 new infections

1 hour ago - Coronavirus cases in the UK have passed 1.5 million after the Government announced a further 18,662 cases on Sunday. The total number of lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK has now reached 1,512,045.

Sunday’s increase of 18,662 new infections is lower than yesterday’s rise of 19,875 which suggests the peak of the second wave could be continuing to flatten. A further 398 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for the virus as of Sunday, bringing the UK total to 55,024.

The Government said of Sunday’s figures on deaths of people who tested positive for Covid: “Due to a processing update, 141 previously published deaths within 28 days in England were excluded from the published data on November 21.

“This issue has now been corrected for data published on November 22, which includes deaths omitted yesterday in today’s total and daily number of newly reported deaths.” It comes as Downing Street confirmed England will go under a tougher three-tiered system of local coronavirus restrictions when the national lockdown ends on December 2...
