330,000 Doses Of Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine Discarded In California After Causing Terrible Allergic Reactions Confirming Previous Site Claims

A new report revealed a large batch of Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine caused severe allergic reactions at a clinic in California. Several people needed immediate medical attention after being administered the vaccine, due to the serious allergic reactions.

The doses were distributed all over the State of California, prompting fears regarding the remaining doses in circulation. This prompted health authorities in California to recall and discard a batch of 330,000 doses of the Modern Covid-19 vaccine, under concerns about its integrity, purity and potency.

KTLA in Los Angeles reported, "'All appeared to be experiencing a possible severe allergic reaction during the standard observation period – a type of adverse event that the CDC reports some people have experienced when receiving a COVID-19 vaccine,' state health officials said in a news release. The reactions are under investigation."

The move, made “out of an extreme abundance of caution,” means that 330,000 doses distributed to 287 providers across the state can’t be used amid an already slow vaccine rollout. “A higher-than-usual number of possible allergic reactions were reported with a specific lot of Moderna vaccine administered at one community vaccination clinic,” California State Epidemiologist Dr. Erica Pan said. Officials said fewer than 10 people needed medical attention over the span of 24 hours, but didn’t clarify what their allergic reactions were...
