Woman Confesses To Congress That She Made Up Story About Justice Brett Kavanaugh Raping Her In Order To Block His Confirmation To The Supreme Court

November 6. 2018

Brett Kavanaugh

On Friday, November 2, 2018, news broke that one of the women who stated judge Brett Kavanaugh raped her, recanted her story. She stated it was a lie she concocted to block him from being appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court last month, because she is a liberal and he is a conservative.

This past week, U.S. senator Charles E. Grassley, who is chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, instructed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate and prosecute Judy Munro-Leighton for lying to Congress, in claiming judge Kavanaugh raped her.

Prior to the Senate Judiciary Committee giving these orders on November 2, 2018, I published an article to this website on October 3, 2018 stating Julie Swetnick should be prosecuted for lying that Kavanaugh raped her (The FBI Should Have Interviewed Julie Swetnick In The Brett Kavanaugh Case And Here's Why  ). Weeks later the Senate Judiciary Committee came to the same conclusion (Michael Avenatti And His Client Julie Swetnick Referred To The FBI And DOJ For Criminal Investigation Over Lying In The Brett Kavanaugh Case).

Swetnick’s story was so outrageous, preposterous and illogical, it was crystal clear from the outset that she was lying. However, her crooked lawyer, Michael Avenatti, who wants to be president, kept pushing her and the story on the public for publicity and political influence. The story was picked up by left leaning mainstream press outlets like NBC, who ran with it, despite all the blaring discrepancies.

Munro-Leighton, much like Julie Swetnick, made the deceitful, fraudulent rape allegations in a pile-on, before Congress decided to order the FBI and DOJ to investigate women who came forward making claims Kavanaugh raped them, and prosecute anyone found to be lying about the matter to the legislature.

This is more proof that I was correct to state Swetnick should be prosecuted. Look at what they did, which caused so much anger, rage, contention and division in the country. It was the worst Supreme Court hearings ever. I remember I watched a few hours of it, then fell asleep feeling sad and nauseated at the whole contentious display.

People were crying and screaming. Activists were angrily and forcefully confronting, cornering and bullying members of Congress who were thinking about voting to confirm Kavanaugh. Not that I’m a fan of Congress (I’m not, because they have failed on very important issues concerning the country) but seeing them getting browbeaten and bullied by activist in favor of women they didn’t know were lying, was not pleasant to watch. One senator started crying after being bullied and yelled at.

This matter also put female writers like me in a bad position. If you criticize the claims of a rape victim some will brand you heartless and even argue with you about it on social networking. However, I have shown sympathy for many rape victims and championed their causes in my articles, but what kind of writer would I be to not point out the fact that Swetnick was lying. I had to blow the whistle on what she was doing.

I resent having to stick my neck out to debunk the fraudulent claims of an ALLEGED rape victim, Swetnick, who I realized was lying from day one. It literally brings stress and headaches I don’t need (for the sake of my health) but when you realize someone is lying about another person and in such a terrible way, you must speak up.

I will state this again, as I have in past articles, women need to stop crying rape. I know women who have been raped and it is a horrible crime that has devastated them. No one should make light of rape or use it as a financial or political tool. That’s a highly unethical thing to do, as you are destroying an innocent life and making it that much more difficult for real rape victims to be believed.

Another Kavanaugh accuser admits to fabricating rape story

The Washington Times - Saturday, November 3, 2018 - One of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh’s accusers admitted this week that she made up her lurid tale of a backseat car rape, saying it “was a tactic” to try to derail the judge’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. Sen. Charles E. Grassley, chairman of the Judiciary Committee revealed the fraud in a letter to the FBI and Justice Department Friday, asking them to prosecute Judy Munro-Leighton for lying to and obstructing Congress.

Mr. Grassley said Ms. Munro-Leighton is a left-wing activist who hijacked another “Jane Doe” anonymous report about a backseat rape and claimed it as her own story, calling it a “vicious assault.” “I am Jane Doe from Oceanside CA — Kavanaugh raped me,” Ms. Munro-Leighton wrote in an Oct. 3 email claiming to have been a victim of the judge.

Mr. Grassley’s investigators tried to reach her for a month but were unsuccessful until this week, when they spoke to her by phone and she confessed that she was not the original Jane Doe, and “did that as a way to grab attention.” She admitted to the false allegation, and said she has actually never met Justice Kavanaugh. “I was angry, and I sent it out,” she told investigators.

“In short, during the committee’s time-sensitive investigation of allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, Ms. Munro-Leighton submitted a fabricated allegation, which diverted committee resources,” Mr. Grassley wrote. “When questioned by Committee investigators she admitted it was false, a ‘ploy,’ and a ‘tactic.’ She was opposed to Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.” President Trump seized on the report Saturday, calling her “a vicious accuser.” “What about the others? Where are the Dems on this?” he demanded via Twitter...
