17-year-old Lorenzo Larry has been arrested and charged in the murder of pregnant 16-year-old De'Shayla Ferguson. Lorenzo is accused of shooting De'Shayla in the head during an argument. De'Shayla and her unborn baby died in the shooting.

Authorities seek to charge Lorenzo as an adult in De'Shayla's murder. Lorenzo is also the prime suspect in a 2021 murder case, but has yet to be charged with the crime. As De'Shala's murder occurred in the State of Florida, if convicted of the crime, Lorenzo would be eligible for the death penalty.
