America suffered 90,000 coronavirus deaths in January alone, bringing the total death toll up to 453,000. America has experienced 26,891,000 coronavirus cases. America continues to be the epicenter of the coronavirus in the world, with a record number of cases and deaths for the majority of the pandemic.

The January death toll is the result of mass travel over the course of 6-weeks, between Thanksgiving to New Years. It was reported that 85,000,000 people in America traveled over the 2020 holidays. It clearly resulted in an explosion of cases and deaths in January.
