Anthony Pellicano Gets 15 Years In Prison December 15. 2008
Anthony Pellicano Psychopathic private investigator to the stars, Anthony Pellicano, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for illegal wiretapping, harassment, identity theft and racketeering. This animal pioneered a very invasive brand of invasion of privacy that includes illegal wiretapping, bugging homes and cars, hacking, paying thugs to threaten men, women and children that constitutionally spoke out against his famous clients, attempting to run over innocent victims with vehicles and leaking the contents of unlawful wiretaps to newspapers and magazines, to terrorize his surveillance targets. Only a sick, satanic mind could have come up with the things this beast did, even extending his acts of harassment to menacing a mother with a disabled child.
His conduct took the nation to new lows in the area of human rights that will not be forgotten. His victims are many and they are scarred for life. Pellicano’s clients included fellow psychos like Madonna, Tom Cruise, Kabbalah and Scientology. Pellicano, a member of a Chicago mafia family, once bragged of how proficient he is with a knife. He boasted to a publication that he could “shred” a face with a knife. A witness even placed him at the scene of the Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman murders shortly before it happened. Said witness further stated O.J. Simpson paid Pellicano to put his ex-wife under surveillance, displeased she had been dating a younger man that she allowed to drive the car he bought her.
Pellicano has yet to be sentenced in a second case. One of his clients, millionaire attorney Terry Christiansen, was tried separately at his request, but received 3 years in prison anyway. As much as one would love to say this saga is over. It is not. Pellicano’s Hollywood clients are still carrying on the sick, vile, invasive tactics they learned from him, however, using other private investigators to do the dirty work, which is still illegal. Pellicano gets 15 years in wiretapping case Former Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano was sentenced to 15 years in prison this afternoon for running an illegal wiretapping operation that gathered information for a list of well-to-do clients, including celebrities, attorneys and business executives. U.S. District Judge Dale S. Fischer's sentence was longer than the five-year, 10-month punishment recommended by the Probation Department. Pellicano, whose clients and victims ranked among Hollywood's biggest stars and most powerful executives, was convicted in two criminal trials earlier this year of 78 counts, including wiretapping, computer fraud and wire fraud. In court papers filed in October, prosecutors asked the judge to sentence Pellicano, 64, to more than 15 years in prison, saying the sleuth was charged with, and convicted of, only a fraction of the crimes he actually committed… |
