Arrest Warrant Issued For NBA Basketball Star DeMarcus Cousins Over Threatening To Shoot The Mother Of His Child (Audio)

Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, DeMarcus Cousins is in trouble with the law. Cousins issued a death threat to Christy West, who is the mother of his 7-year-old child. Cousins wanted his son to attend his wedding to Morgan Lang. Cousins son was not in attendance at the wedding, which took place in Atlanta.

West recorded the death threat that was issued over the phone. An enraged Cousins threatened to shoot West in the head for objecting to his request and keeping their son from the wedding. Cousins stated, "I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level. Can I have my son here, please?" West responded, "No!" Cousins erupted in rage and stated, "I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f***ing head."

West comes across as upset and angry that Cousins decided to marry someone else. Out of bitterness she kept their son from the wedding. She should not have done that, as Cousins has parental rights as well. While that is not an ideal situation, regarding a child watching one of their parents marry someone else, West provoked Cousins into rage. Having stated that, he also should not have threatened to shoot her in the head (or anywhere else). Issuing death threats is a crime.

West filed a police complaint against Cousins, providing authorities with a recording of the death threat. She has also filed for a restraining order against Cousins, citing the death threat incident. In the application for a restraining order, West alleges there was a previous incident where Cousins choked her.

These baby mama situations can get really awful. This is why many women try to avoid dating or marrying men with children. It's not due to them disliking the child. It's the mother of the child who can make things so difficult, because she is angry and bitter over losing the him. Seriously, look how much trouble this situation has caused because the mother of his child wouldn't let their son attend his wedding to another woman. She's still in love with him.
