ASAP Rocky Enters Not Guilty Plea In Swedish Trial While Emphasizing The Criminal History Of Assault Victim But Covering Up His Own

July 31. 2019

ASAP Rocky

30-year-old rapper ASAP Rocky is currently on trial in Sweden for serious assault. Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, and his entourage, attacked two Afghan migrants, who were following them down a street in Stockholm and verbally harassing them.

ASAP and his entourage responded poorly to the incident. Rather than call police or ask a local to do so, they took matters into their own hands. ASAP grabbed one of the migrants by his upper body and tossed him across the street. Then, ASAP and his entourage punched, kicked and cut Mustafa Jafari with broken bottles, as he lay unarmed on the ground. The incident was caught on CCTV and mobile phone cameras.

ASAP Rocky and his entourage with broken bottles used to slice into Afghan migrant who was laying on the ground after being beaten by them. The bottle photograph shows some of the injuries to the migrant, who was hospitalized due to the assault.

ASAP even took to social networking to brag about the violent incident. However, the Swedish government was not amused, as Jafari sustained bruises, a broken rib and deep wounds that required many stitches. As such, ASAP and members of his entourage, who sustained no injuries, were arrested and charged with assault.

ASAP has pleaded not guilty in court this week. His publicist and attorney are citing the fact one of the victims, Jafari, has a criminal record for petty theft, assault and heroin use. However, this conduct is highly hypocritical considering ASAP Rocky has a lengthy criminal history for a host of crimes that range from being a drug dealer to assaulting a woman.

Police evidence of a CCTV still of the assault

In 2004 ASAP was jailed in New York for drug dealing. In 2012 he was arrested in New York for assault after beating up two members of the public and taking their phones, after they snapped photos of him. In 2012 he was arrested for doing illegal drugs in a store and beating up a man in the same incident. In 2013 he was arrested for slapping a woman across the face during the Budweiser Made In America Festival. In 2016 he beat up a man in New Zealand for attempting to use the same elevator while he was in it.

In January 2019 he assaulted a man in Toronto and once again used a broken bottle to threaten the victim with further injury. ASAP’s most recent incident of assault on June 30, 2019 that is being tried in Sweden saw him actually beat the victim and use a broken bottle to cause him further injury.

ASAP’s criminal record reveals he is a man with no respect for the law or the rights of others. He has gone all over America and into the international community committing violent crimes against members of the public. His attorney is now glossing over these facts in the Swedish criminal court case. However, they are pertinent, as they show a clear pattern of criminal misconduct that left a number of people injured.

ASAP kept buying his way out of trouble since he became famous, but this time he has landed himself in a territory with different rules. He is shocked and outraged that someone is actually attempting to hold him accountable for his crimes. This is the standard Hollywood attitude towards members of the public, as for years the FBI has allowed celebrities to skate on serious crimes against innocent Americans and on a regular basis. Therefore, these celebrities behave like spoiled entitled brats and believe they are above the law.
