Jarell Houston, former member of the now defunct boyband B2K, was arrested on domestic violence charges yesterday and released today. Police responded to a neighbor's calls of screaming coming from his home in Los Angeles, which he shares with girlfriend, Jondelle Michelle Lee and their three children. Houston maintains he did not hit her, with Lee stating the same. No charges have been filed.

The police brought Houston in, when the arguing couple refused to answer their doorbell. When the police finally gained entry to the property, the two reportedly refused to stop yelling at each other.

As a rule, police refuse to leave both parties in an incendiary domestic situation they are called out to investigate. As such, the police decided to bring him in.

B2K Member J Boog Released, Fights Alleged Domestic Situation

Posted on 01/06/10  - J Boog Former B2K member Jarell Houston, aka J-Boog, has been released from police custody in Los Angeles after being arrested for suspicion of domestic violence and unpaid traffic tickets.

While the "Bounce" singer is reportedly happy to be free, sources close to him say allegations of there being a domestic situation between him and the mother of his children are 100% false. "There hasn't been an official filing for domestic violence," Damuer Leffridge, COO of Boog's label, Popular Records, told VIBE late Tuesday.

Rumors that Boog had been involved in some form of altercation with his girlfriend and mother of his children surfaced as soon as news broke that he had been arrested. TMZ, speaking with neighbors, was first to report that Boog had been arrested after neighbors said they heard screaming followed by six to seven police squad cars. While Leffridge says Boog's girlfriend is in fact the woman involved, she has no plans to press charges for what could be called a verbal dispute...
