Brother Of Parkland Mass Murderer Nikolas Cruz Arrested For Trespassing At School That Is The Site Of The Shooting Deaths (Zachary Cruz)

On February 14, 2018, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, shot and killed 14 students and 3 teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He was arrested for these terrible crimes and is facing the death penalty. In the aftermath of the tragic incident, 17-year-old Zachary Cruz, the half brother of Nikolas Cruz, was taken in for psychiatric evaluation under the Baker Act. Zachary Cruz was released shortly after and ordered to stay away from the site of the shooting.

Despite warnings, Zachary Cruz outrageously went to Stoneman Douglas High School three times since the shooting, in acts of criminal trespassing. He was completely out of line. He was arrested yesterday and placed in the same Broward jail his brother is being held. Zachary Cruz is being held on $500,000 bond. His mindset is alarming. Prior to his arrest, Zachary Cruz was caught on tape having jailhouse conversations with his brother, telling him he is famous and can use it to get girls.

U.S. State Attorney, Saranell Murphy stated, "Probably most concerning is his contact that he has had with his brother in jail since his incarceration. He has been heard and observed discussing how popular his brother is now, that his face is everywhere and his name is national. There is discussion of stating some sort of pen pal or fan club and how many girls he is capable of attracting, referring to his brother Nikolas." That is not popularity. That is public contempt.

It is clear the Cruz brothers have serious mental problems. Their mother was a drug addicted prostitute and the identities of their fathers is unknown. Their mother sold them to Lynda Cruz, who is their adoptive mother that passed away last year. Their mentally insane behavior highlights the fact it is dangerous for pregnant women to take illegal drugs, as it unquestionably impacts the fetus and in a negative way. The Cruz brothers are exhibiting the signs of mental illness and mental disability.
