Rapper and reality star Cardi B turned herself into police on an assault warrant, in connection with an attack perpetrated at a New York strip club on August 29, 2018. Cardi, a former stripper who is married to rapper Offset of the rap trio the Migos, flew into a rage and ordered assaults on two bartenders at the strip club, accusing them of having sexual affairs with her promiscuous husband.

Police stated to the press that charges are pending against Cardi for “misdemeanor reckless endangerment” and “disorderly conduct.” Cardi’s first court appearance is scheduled for October 29, 2018, where she will enter a plea. Cardi will also likely face civil suits in connection with the incident that could cost her a lot of money. It does not pay to get violent. It pays to be a victim of violence, as Cardi will soon learn.

Cardi B surrendered to police on Monday morning, PEOPLE can confirm. The rapper surrendered in connection with a fight earlier this year at a strip club in Queens, New York, according to multiple reports. A New York Police Department Public Information Officer tells PEOPLE that Cardi “turned herself in today at the 109 Precinct,” which is located in Flushing, Queens. According to NBC Channel 4 News, she surrendered to police shortly before 10 a.m. and left around 11:45 a.m...
