As reported on this site this week, R&B singer, Chris Brown, has been sued for rape, by an unnamed woman, who attended a party at his house. The lawsuit seeks $17,000,0000 in damages from Brown and his friend, rapper Lowell Grissom, also known as Young Lo.

Brown is not accused of raping the unnamed woman. However, the alleged rape is said to have taken place at his home and he is accused of creating a drug fuelled environment and allowing his friends to force his guests into sexual situations. Brown is also sued because his net worth is said to be $50,000,000, whereas Young Lo, is a fairly unknown rapper. Brown has not publicly commented on the case.

Grissom's attorney Anthony Willougby stated, "Lowell vehemently denies these false and defaming accusations originated last year, ending with no arrests, no proof, an inconclusive rape kit and after a police investigation - no charges filed. This civil lawsuit is a blatant attempt at a money grab and to harm the reputation of my client while encouraging PR noise for Gloria Allred while she exploits this young woman for her own financial gains and public persona."
