June 19. 2008

Cindy McCain

Wife of Republican presidential nominee, John McCain, stated today that she believes the wives and families of candidates should be off limits. Yea, like that's gonna happen.

Considering whoever wins the race for the White House, will be residents at said casa and represent the nation to the world, you can be sure each person in said family will be thoroughly investigated and written about by the press. That's just how it's always worked.

You asking the press to back off is like asking Bill Clinton not to go to Hooters. That's just testing willpower to the max.

Cindy McCain: Families of candidates not fair game

(CNN) -- Cindy McCain, wife of Sen. John McCain, said Thursday that the spouses of the presidential candidates should be allowed to have some privacy.

"I do not think that spouses and family members ... are fair game," she told CNN's John King. "There has to be some decorum left in politics and in American journalism as well. Our husbands are the candidates," she said.
