Colombia, Ecuador And Venezuela In Diplomatic Talks

Bloomberg News reports today on the Colombian/Ecuadorian/Venezuelan border conflict gave cause for optimism that the three countries are engaging in productive talks with the goal of averting war. Here's hoping the diplomatic discussions are successful and a resolution is reached, agreeable to all parties.

The conflict was triggered when Colombia's government forces went into Ecuadorian territory in a raid, killing high profile rebels. It has provoked the talk of war.
